The Perfect View 1

For the last two months life was like a train on the wrong tracks.
Going in directions that were not planned and were not intended and not wished.
Coming into situations that were decided by others and where one felt like being dead.
Because the own life had been shanghaied.

The reason for all this was not that the Fuso Szulc had to be repaired.
The reason is that certain persons took the opportunity of the need to fix the Fuso Szulc to boost their bank account.
Without having any consideration for the consequences on the other side.
Very selfish and materialistic persons who don’t realize how ugly they make themselves.
They may drive an expensive car but inside their heart it is rotting.

However, now the Fuso Szulc is in tip-top shape thanks to “Trueline” in San Diego and life has returned where it wants to belong.
Because it is there where it can be creative and productive.
That is considered as the destiny and the task.

Returned in the artist life immediately a miracle happened.
By itself, and this is the way it is supposed to go, a new series of pictures is coming into existence.
Not wanted, planned or scheduled: it is simply happening.
Even the title for the new series of images, rather essential for this new work, came like falling from heaven.
“The perfect view”.

What is for heaven’s sake a perfect view?
There is no such thing, ladies and gentlemen.
Because what is a perfect view for her might not be a perfect view for him.
In other words, a perfect view is a very personal thing.
Therefore, a perfect view as a conception, is completely empty.
It gets only meaning when someone fills it in.
As of then a perfect view becomes a perfect view.
And possibly not only for this one person.
Others might agree.
Or not.

Hence, a perfect view as a title for a series of images is ideal.
Each time a person sees an image of this series, the question arises whether it is a perfect view indeed.
The image is seen and the viewer will reflect no matter what.
A process of thinking is initiated and that is the purpose of the enterprising photographer.
One sees an image and wonders what is so perfect about that particular view.
Or is surprised.
Or agrees.
Or smiles.

The title of the new series of images therefore is essential and the key.

But also while making the images.
Each time the question is asked: is this a perfect view?
Does this qualify to be in the series?

The way the results of “The Perfect View” are presented has also come in a natural way.
Without planning or scheming.
And therefore seems to be ideal.
Everyday on Facebook an image is published.
This requires discipline and productivity: that is highly enjoyed.
And it makes a large group of friends be surprised, entertained and sometimes puzzled every single day.

Now, many loyal and alert blog readers will stand up and say they want to see those images of the new series “The perfect view” also.
