Pesach

Passover is a Jewish holiday that was celebrated this evening.
It is full moon.
Passover commemorates the Exodus and freedom of the Israelites from ancient Egypt.
It is an important day for Jewish people because it marks the birth of the Children of Israel and of the Jewish nation.
Also because it remembers the liberation of being slaves of the Egyptian Pharaoh to become followers of God instead.

In many Jewish families this evening Passover, or Pesach, was celebrated.
An extensive ceremony with much tradition and symbolism.

It was a privilege to be invited tonight for a Passover celebration.
To be with good friends who still respect old traditions.
Fascinating to participate in the ceremony.
And an adventure to taste dishes like “Chrein”, grated horseradish mixed with cooked beets and sugar.

Meanwhile the water pump for Gumaro Gonzales has been found in Temecula, California, USA.
It has found a place in one of the cargo spaces of the Fuso Santek.

Tomorrow is the departure for Mexico.
The border will be crossed at Tijuana.

In Vons supermarket a supply of organic food was purchased.
A new collection of books to read was bought.
The water tank filled and early morning it is south the Fuso Santek goes.

Tonight pictures were made of the Passover celebration.
One of those images could inspire us in a positive way.
It is a grandfather with his grandchild.

Here we agree- time tested ceremonies to bring the family together, even the long lost ones as yourself. In 20 years new family members are reared and come to dinner at Nana & Papa's house for a time tested ceremony, but the purpose remains the same...
to celebrate the love in sharing a meal together.
