an exceptional day

Living as the permanent pilgrim brings fabulous days to live.
Often there are no plans or appointments but always miraculously something or somebody comes.

Yesterday though was a most exceptional day.
A journalist of a serious and successful national newspaper had requested an interview because of the publication of the photo book of the project “The most beautiful people in the world”.

The interview took place in a popular cafe-restaurant in Amsterdam.
And lasted for three hours.
More than an interview, it often was a conversation about very personal matters.
And this made it so special.
To have in a short period of time an intimacy and trust creating a field for openness and honesty.
From where more awareness can arise about the fundamentals of the own life.
Like light coming to shine in areas of the psyche where darkness prevails.

The conclusion must be therefore that in fact it was not an interview although a text will soon be published in the newspaper.
It went far beyond it being an interview.
It was a spiritual dance of ultimate beauty and it is one of the wonderful results for the maker of the project “The most beautiful people in the world”.

There was another event that made yesterday a most exceptional day.
The designer of the photo book of the project “The most beautiful people in the world”, Teun van der Heijden, had the pre-press designs ready and they needed to be checked.
To see if there were still any spelling mistakes.
And how exactly to publish the details of the colophon.
Another last minute issue was the question what to do with the back of the book.
A blitz brainstorming took place and the result was to have also on the back one of the images of the project.

Also with the designer and the work that had to be done two layers were present.
One was the actual work.
But underneath a more interesting and richer layer was in existence.
A connection of energies that had a very close similarity of intensity.
Therefore the decisions were made as a logical and natural process going as if by itself.
Finding ideal and perfect solutions in harmonious togetherness.

It feels that all the experiences in life until now have been an education to be ready to do a vast project like “The most beautiful people in the world” .
To be involved in the many aspects of the project in a way that beauty, peace and harmony are the prevalent dominators.
And that can be felt and seen from the images, the text and the book.
The project, the book, the publications, the interviews, the collaborators, the people who obtain or purchase a book and the exhibitions are as beautiful as every of the most beautiful people in the world.
